Stuart Briscoe was our chapel guest speaker today. He explained 2 Cor ch5 from Paul’s perspective. The apostle experienced abuse from the inhabitants of Corinth, a strategically placed 1st century cosmopolitan city, lying on the North-South and East- West trade routes. In a city that was ripe for ministry Paul had been treated in a way that would make many pastors up and leave the place, yet Paul had made the decision to stay.
