Roxton, the college’s academic and administrative centre, has four classrooms seating between 15 and 100 students. These are fully equipped with whiteboards, television and VCR usage, as well as video and overhead projectors.
The largest lecture room is also used for the college’s bi-weekly chapel services and for conferences for the public.
Library and Resources
The Bible Institute’s library contains an excellent, broad-based collection of 23 000 volumes, to which a large number of books are added annually. We also receive about 50 periodical titles regularly. Through North-West University we have access to EBSCO Host, as well as to the NWU online journal collection. Computers are loaded with various reference library databases and Bible programmes.
Students have access to a number of computers and to power points for laptops. Internet and email facilities are available, as well as wireless access in the residences.
The Bible Institute Chapel is home to the Kalk Bay Community Church. This interdenominational church is pastored by the Rev. Willem Conradie, one of the faculty of the college. Willem also heads up the Kalk Bay Ministry to the village community, in which a number of students are involved.
